Still preferring one –on –one video calling to group chats?? Well …think again!

Facebook has launched a new video calling feature that is powered by Skype. All you need to use this application is a Facebook account. Tinychat, Facebook’s chatting feature is currently very popular with over a 100000 signing up on daily basis. With so many already on Facebook every video chat lover prefers this new app. This growing popularity seems likely to turn into a stiff competition for the g+ feature ‘hang out’.
But is it? Facebook’s new video chat feature isn’t yet ready to support group video chats like ‘hang outs’. As group chatting in Skype cost money many are wary of using it for video conferencing and prefer the free on- on- one video calling. But in g+ group chatting is a main feature. Up to 10 people can come together. The video stream is directed automatically to the one talking and waits till someone else talks! And it costs absolutely nothing making it perfect for group study and video conferencing.
For those who would still prefer on-on-one chatting Google plus offers its video calling feature. It’s independent from ‘hang out’. And you don’t need to go to Skype either!
But all my friends are in Facebook! And hang out requires downloading too? Well, so does Facebook. Although Facebook seems set to release a group chat feature to overcome the stiff competition there seems to be a paralleling between the two for the time being. Facebook is where all your friends are and g+ is where all the cool stuff is.
