Google plus has improved the IOS app

Facebook has definitely been in the spotlight over the last couple of weeks but Google plus has not been sitting idly – it has improved the IOS app. The IOS app would now support “hangouts”, which is going to allow users to chat with each other using secondary cameras on the iPhone 4 and iPod touch.

By using this application you can now attach photographs to chat threads also. You can now also include +1 comments, there is an improved +mentions support and there is also a map view for all those places you’ve been in.

It seems that Google plus is not slow and steady rather it’s fast and steady. It has already had an additional 10 million viewers in just two days after opening up to the public and a base of 50 million users. By adding such value-added services, it’s definitely going to garner huge growth in the coming months.

Awaiting the new Google app eagerly?? Hopefully you won’t have to wait long!

Google Plus app in iPhonesAfter its release of the new application for the Android phones Google plus seems all set to release its next app for iphones. With over 10 million already into g+ many eagerly await its release.

Google plus created quite a sensation by capturing the hearts of many while being still in field trial. Google hopes to overcome its lack of a competent social networking site through this new avatar.

What is making g+ so popular is its many innovative components like hang out, circles and sparks. While hang out allows many to chat like they were in the same room circles make texting to many an easier task.

Google has requested that Apple introduce an app for Google plus in iTunes, the Apple app store. But Apple is taking its time to play games of uncertainty. Not in the mood to respond Apple hasn’t clearly stated as to when it intends to release the new app. This could very well be intended to increase the buzz and thereby the anticipation around the release.

Many social networkers prefer using their mobiles to access networking sites like Facebook and Twitter. Over 35%   already use the   Android application and many more are looking forward to accessing g+ using their iphones. And following this demand Apple seems to be a willing Santa for the time being.

Received a Google plus invite? Congratulations!! But are you sure it’s genuine??

Lately, reports of a new spam founded on Google plus have been in news a lot. A Facebook app has been giving these fake applications ‘Google plus direct access’ that prompt users to visit and like a page on the site. And this promises you invites in return for recommending it to others. This is bogus of course! It also offers a means to invite 50 others to Google plus. What it actually does is access personal information to the creators of the dubious app. And God only knows what they intend to do with it!

The scam is already spreading very fast with close to over 15,000 fans in a day!

Such spams are pretty common in Facebook. That which is feared more is that they could be used to promote sites that dissipate privacy threatening malware. It certainly would make matters worse and necessitate reporting of such spam to the networking site.

With people easily being duped to like it and spam friends too the scam needs to be checked in time. What you can do is check on any mysterious offers like this through a general Google search. That ought to tell you whether it’s a spam or not. Well it is a bit more of research but as they say prevention is better than cure.
