• Google recently introduced a new social networking site called Google Plus. Since it is a new social network, many people still aren’t familiar in using it. Once you’ve learned how to use it, you will be able to share news with your friends on the web.
• After setting up an account at Google Plus, you must change the email notification setting. Google Plus will email every single notification related to your account according to the default setting. If you don’t want to receive notifications about your Google Plus account, you can go to the account options section and disable them. While at the account options section, you should uncheck the notifications which you don’t want to receive. In this way, you will be able to reduce the amount of spam in your inbox.
• Google Plus account will reveal your profile information to the public by default. If you don’t want people to know your profile, you can go to the Google Account Profile and profile settings. After that, you must select the Edit visibility on profile and choose the profile fields that you want to make public.
• Google Plus enables you to choose who you want to share the news with. You can disable resharing the news you have posted if you don’t want it to be made known to other people. To disable resharing a news, you simply need to select the arrow located on the top right corner of the post and click on Disable resharing.

• With Google Plus, you can receive news from people whom you are not following. Hence, you will always want to check back your Google Plus account to see if there is any interesting news. It is like a spam folder which contain news that interest you occasionally.
• The Google Plus Circles system allows you to share a news with certain groups of people. If you want to share the news with the public, you can use the circles sharing option to share with all your friends. In this way, you can avoid wasting time to select the circles individually.
• In the Google Plus social networking site, you will find a section called Sparks section. There are many interesting news to read in the Sparks Section. If you are interested in a news, you can click on the Add Interest button.

Google Plus allows you to explore other people’s profile by clicking the profile pictures.

You can change the style of the Google Plus text. If you want the text to be made bold, you must add asterisk to the text. For example, if you want to bold a text, you must enter in this format *bold text*. If you want to make a text italic, you must add underscore, for example _italic text_. If you want to strikethrough a text, you must add two dashes, for example -text-.
