Google which surprises us every day with an image in its search page has surprised us with its Google +1 button. Every noob (it’s me) would have easily drawn comparison between this +1 button and the Face book’s like button. Google has got the privilege of being the most trusted and preferred search engine and in many cases they are the largest source of traffic for many websites. However for years they have been concentrating much on improvising their search algorithm, rather than paying attention to the importance of data from social networks.

Google +1 will help users to determine which content will be more relevant to their search. Spamming websites will have a tough time even if they do well in the search engine rankings. Google +1 will also indirectly helped Google to find out what people really want and thereby improving its search algorithm. Google has got a long path to cover considering the domination by Face book in this field. Google buzz taught Google some tough lessons and it seems they have taken up the challenge.
